Volcano and Lake Batur Tour

One Day Full Trip , ( 8 -10 Hours duration ) : This trip will take you to visit Batu Bulan for watching Barong and Kris Dance, Balinese traditional Batik and weaving at Tohpati. Mas village for its Balinese traditional wood carving. Ubud for its native painting studio. Tirta Empul Temple ( Natural Waterspring Temple ) , then to the scenic caldera mount Batur and its beautiful lake. Lunch around the area overlooking the mountain and lake view. On the way back to hotel, stop at Tegallalang to see rice terraces field, back to the hotel.

Start Time : We will pick up in a little bit different time depend on your hotel location. If you are staying at Nusadua area, we will pick you up in time range of 08.00 - 08.30 am; Kuta at 08.00 - 08.15; and for Sanur and Ubud at 08.45 - 09.00.

Your journey : From your hotel you will be driven to Kintamani through Sanur (except your hotel location is in Ubud), Batubulan, Celuk, Mas,Batuan Tampak Siring and Tegallalang. In your long way in Batubulan village, you will see various type of stone carving and witnessing Barong and Keris Dance performance. After that you will pass Celuk village, a central part of Bali's Gold and Silversmith home industry. Make a stop at an art shop and have a look at the exhibiting jewelry's products. In Mas village see wood carving ,and Batuan Village for Painting . . Tampak Siring has another sense of interest for foreigners. In this place the palace of the first Indonesian president is situated. You will need a very special time to explore this palace. Actually Kintamani village is a village located at the edge of a mountain caldera. Many years ago, a big- high mount erupted and make a big caldera which know as Lake Batur nowadays. You can imagine how big the caldera should be if an independent lake and mount could be exist inside. When you are standing at Penelokan village, it means that you are at the edge of the caldera. From here you can see the Mount Batur and Lake Batur as the main content of the caldera. The view is really fascinating. Don't miss it from your camera focus. Going down to the caldera, in the southeast direction, you will be driven (through a way which consists of stone of mountain along its both side) to Toya Bungkah village. A small nice village at the edge of the Lake Batur. There are many restaurants and accommodations in this place as well as a place to hire equipments for water sports activities such as fishing, skiing, parasailing, and so on. A small library for public owned by the most Indonesian artist, that is Sutan Takdir Alisahbana, also available here. This village is become a starting point for mountain climbers before climbing Batur Mount. Back to Penelokan, you may go to the north to visit the Batur Temple, still at the edge of the caldera. Completing your tour : After visiting the Batur Temple, our guide will take you back to your hotel. On your way back to your hotel from Kintamani you will have another route than the first one. Now you will pass by Sayan to Denpasar. You may arrive at your hotel around 7.00 pm, depends on the location of your hotel.
